My husband the game fanatic

So for those of you who don't know, my husband and some of his friends have this ridiculous fettish with board games and/or card games. This weekend my husband hosted this all night "Settlers of Catan" tournament. I won't bore you with all the details but basically they play a bunch of rounds and determine the winner.

The thing that I love the most about this is that my husband gets to be happy and have fun with his friends doing something he's interested in. I really admire him for the person that he is because he does it for the pure fun of it and really doesn't care if he wins or loses unlike most people who get so competitive and are poor sports. And also that I get time to spend watching chick flicks with my sister while he's distracted and don't have to hear his complaining all the way through the movie.
Here's some of his friends in front of a table covered with just a few of the other games he wants. And below gives you a glimpse of the fanatasism...he put liner down so the pieces wouldn't move.
He has a ton of games that he's already collected which seem to find their way all over our house. This is where they're suppose to be...
This is where some of them are right now. Oh and there's even more in his truck from taking around to other people's homes to play with them.
Also, semiannually he and his friends hold this huge tournament for table hockey. No, not air hockey, table hockey. I'd never even heard of it before I met Trent but I must admit I got addicted to the game too! It's kinda like foosball but with hockey guys. Last year for Christmas I got him his own table so he could practice up for the tournaments.
They really are a big deal because they keep stats of everything you could imagine and give trophies for the winners and things like best defense, most goals scored on yourself, most goals scored from the defense players, best Canadian spirit (the guy that's in charge is Canadian), best goal tending and some others I can't think of right now. Here are a few of Trent's trophies.
